Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Judy V. Spencer Fund is converting this year's race to the Judy V. Spencer Virtual Races. You can choose from a virtual 5k Run, 5K Walk or a 1 Mile Walk to be part of the virtual races. New entry fee is $10, with an option to purchase a shirt/swag package for an additional $15. Please be aware, there is a $3.25 online processing fee added to the registration fee.
All proceeds (100%) go to the Judy V. Spencer Fund which provides boarding for the animals of domestic violence victims through our partnership with the Bay Area Women's Center and the Humane Society of Bay County.
In these difficult times dealing with the COVID19 pandemic it is still important that we all are still getting out and exercising. This is a great opportunity to continue to do so and more importantly help others in need. Since this is a virtual race, after registering, you are free to run your 5K run, 5K walk or 1 mile walk at your leisure and where you want to run or walk. We have this website set up so you can enter your time from your run or walk anytime from Friday, May 29 until Sunday, June 7. We do want to remind you to remember guidelines from the CDC and our government to practice safe social distancing as you participate in this worthy event.
Getting your race time into the Judy V. Spencer Fund Results Page:
You can enter your virtual race time 2 different ways. The easiest is to upload the free mobile app which will track your distance, route and time, and you can upload your time to Its Your Race directly through the mobile app.You can also upload an image of the route you ran or walked to Its Your Race. To upload the mobile app, use the appropriate link (Apple or Android/Google) directly to the right on this screen.
You can also enter your time manually by clicking on the Result tab near the top of this screen, scroll to your name and click the Update Time button. You will then need to sign into Its Your Race using your email address and password you used when registering. If you registered as a guest, you will need to register yourself at this time to enter your time.
7th Annual Judy V. Spencer Fund's 5K-9 2020 Overview
The Judy V. Spencer Fund is proud to present the 7th Annual Bay City 5k-9 Race for 2020! Join several hundred participants in running and/or walking with or without your dog on our 5k course located along Bay City’s beautiful Rail Trail. Yes! This IS a dog friendly event! The 5k-9 sign up will be held at the Bay City Community Center. Proceeds from this years event go to the Judy V. Spencer Fund which in partnership with the Bay Area Women’s Center and the Humane Society of Bay County, provides boarding for the animals of domestic violence victims. We will be racing on a Sunday morning!
This race is being organized and managed by the Judy V. Spencer Fund with proceeds being placed back into the Bay City community through the Judy V. Spencer Fund.
